How can I know if someone on eBay received my payment?

I recently send a money order to an eBay seller. How can I know if they received it yet?

When you sign up with eBay, the way I understood it, you are required lodge with them an e-mail address that will become your line of contact. When the vendor receives your payment, that person is supposed to e-mail you an acknowledgement. You would probably hear from that person soon enough if the money hadn't been received. Just the same if you haven't received your merchandise and more time has passed than you think should have, you need to communicate with your seller through eBay and politely ask what is the current status of your transaction.

You mean other than asking them? You can take your copy of the money order back to the place you purchased it and have them check to see if it has been cashed yet.
