My grandmother is legally blind, and needs a wireless phone with large numbers that she can see. Any ideas?

There is a program avaliable for many types of Nokia phones called Mobile Speak. This will actually speak out loud to the user so they can navigate through all screens. This website has stories and testimonials about it and several other phones for the blind:

Just follow the link in my source. This phone seems to have the options you want and can get an extra handset which often is not available with storebought models without special order.

push aside the 1st answer because of the fact the Blackberry Curve isn't for Verizon on the spot. i choose to advise the XV6800. The Pearl has a Suretype keyboard that isn't decrease it. The XV6800 has a slide-out keyboard with extensive letters and numbers.

Your Grandma is legally blind so need braille key pad wireless cell phone.If not key which pronounce the alphabet which she pressed.Go to http://www.verizon.com.store or http://www.att.net.store

depending on your carrier. ask them for the number for the disabled. they will help you get a phone that can help your grandmother. we are all paying for that service, so use it.
