Uncircumcised because that is truly how we were born. Man has decided that the foreskin (flap of skin) that goes over the glans (head) of the penis must be cut off ........for religious reasons and then for cleanliness reason which is all bull!
The hood or foreskin is there to protect the glans from constant friction of the glans which in time (growing up time unnoticed) the glans become less sensitive to friction therefore limiting our pleasure and sensation as circumcised men.
God made us that way , we come out of the womb perfect and leave it to man to destroy what God made .............humans always do.
And on another note after reading all the answers from people (females) that dont know. It does not make your penis bigger either way, if you pull the skin back your head will show ....therefore "fatter" perhaps if not it may appear longer with the skin over it then one who is not circumsied due to the bit of extra skin you have if uncircumcised.
Two if you dont wash it ....it will stink either way but when you wash an "uncut' one there is a bit more labor involved like simply pulling the skin back to wash .......wa la! A clean one!
People do have the appreance preferance and that is a personal thing. The circumsion would be similar if they circumsised a women's clitoris ....(which has been done)......painful and loss of sensation due to being exposed all the time..............after all so they say a clitoris is just a baby penis or could have been since we all start out female.....so to speak.

As you can see from the answers already listed here, most people have answered about the differences between circumcised and uncircumcised correctly. I have to admit that it is surprising to see that most people preferred the uncircumcised penis as their choice for which they feel is better. For the most part in the U.S. the majority of people are more accustomed to seeing a circumcised penis, and see the uncircumcised penis as something almost alien or strange....simply because it's different. Personally I'm glad that there are people who have the sensibility to see it all as normal.....whether circumcised or uncircumcised, because in the end it's simply a penis.
Best of Luck!

well... the defenition is one has the foreskin intact... the other is removed. That is the difference. One looks like a mushroom.... the other a mushroom wearing a turtleneck sweater made of skin. As for what is better.... it is all a matter of personal preference. if you are not circumcised... then you have to take a few extra personal hygiene efforts to keep it clean because you have to wash under the foreskin. You are more likely to get yeast infections if you are uncircumsised. I personally prefer a circumsised man... but my husband was not. But my feelings were apparently not strong enough about circumsicion (sp) to make me not marry him....so ... either way...not bad.

The foreskin of the penis is surgically removed by a doctor, or by a Rabi when the boy is a baby. That is the only difference. With or without "cover"...

circumsized=foreskin cut displaying the head of the penis at all times
uncircumsized=foreskin not cut, thus, it covers the head of the penis until an erection is achieved or the man pushes it back for cleaning purposes.

CIRCUMCISED IS MUCH BETTER.
CIRCUMCISION IS VERY BENEFICIAL, its cleaner and several research bodies have concluded that circumcised men have less risk of contracting STD's such as AIDS-HIV or herpes.
Uncircumsised penises are difficult to keep clean, and more prone to infections and penile cancer, studies have shown.
A circumcised penis is naturally clean and virtually free from urinary infection. You will not have to worry again with careful washing of your penis.
Is it NOT true that the AAP (American Academy of Paediatrics) does not recomend circumcision. They simply say they leave the desicion to parents. But recently, and specially after the New Zealand study they have been the AAP has beendiscussing if it may be needed to change their policy and recomend circumcision to all newborns as they used to do, so in the future we may see that the AAP advocates again circumcision.
Have a look at: http://www.baby-health.net/articles/381.html
About STD's:
As I said, several studies carried out by prestigious research bodies have concluded that uncircumcised penises are more prone to infections and contraction of STD's, including AIDS-HIV. Circumcised men have been proved to be up to seven times less likely to be infected than those who are uncircumcised. Have a look at this site: http://icuxbridge.icnetwork.co.uk/news/tm_objectid=14095142&method=full&siteid=53340&headline=-circumcision-protects-against-aids--name_page.html
As for women, studies also show that circumcision also protecs femanle partners from AIDS-HIV and other STD's. Browse this article: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/Press_releases/2006/02_08_06.html
About sensitivity of a circumcised penis:
No medical or physiological study has proved this, opposed common belief that circumcision reduces sensitivity. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) confirms this on their web site; have a look at: http://www.aap.org/pubed/zzzjzmemh4c.htm
Circumcision is an easy and nowadays painless procedure, that has many benefits, and virtually no risks.
Circumcision is NOT an amputation. Circumcision is NOT comparable at all to female circumcision, which is something completely different.
Circumcision rates are INCREASING nowadays, both in the United States and overseas. Many African and South American countries with little circumcision tradition are starting to promote the procedure to help to reduce the AIDS-HIV infection rates.

Loving, caring parents do not mutilate their children at birth. They respect their baby' right to determine it's own needs and not to impose their own desires on it.I can't imagine a doctor agreeing to cut off the hands of a baby because then the need to wash them and keep them clean will no longer be needed.Circumcision=mutilation=child abuse.
