Nothing cause they are not better than anyone else....just because they can sing and appear on TV doesn't mean they are better than you and I...........

Ive met David Essex many times. The last thing they wanna hear if they are out and about is "Can I have your autograph?". I know its hard being famous and able to live a private life.
I always respect their privacy. I smile politely to acknowledge that I recognise them, I might even smile and say hello. If they get into conversation with me then I might ask by saying "I don't suppose?" but you have to choose the moment and sometimes that just doesn't come up. It's very immature not to respect a famous persons privacy by flapping in front of them waving a pen and a piece of paper. You will come to realise that one day ..... perhaps!

true story, in Boston airport to pick up an uncle, was walking next to the left hand side and went right around the corner and bounced right off of a few gig time ( old ) wrestles....they went to say are you alright, but they started to laugh when they say my face and I could only say stuff like ba bla ba and silly words..I could not get my mind to work...I smiled they shook my hand and they walked away..never got a picture or an autograph..and if it was someone like Madonna, I may have bounced off of them...and not been able to MOVE....never mind say anything...
so that's what happened to me for real..I have been preparing myself for another one (whom ever it may be) but it has not happened since...OH well my lose..
smile
good luck

Well, Perry Como came into my shop one day and I said: Perry I got married on one of your songs! (ii was whether thy goest I will go or something like that ). Perry (always a gentleman) said: Did I get paid for that?
He was a doll and I did not wash my hand for days after I shook his. For the young ones, COmo is one of the best from the past.

Nothing much cause you don't have much time to talk to them. Just get their autograph and say thank you. Maybe a quick picture with them. Then move on.

Been there and done that, I met Nisha Ganatra a few years back and it was awesome. She is a Film Director and Actress, that was one of my best experiences. She was really nice, too.
I got her autograph, and also got permission to start a Fan Club on Yahoo for her. Neat. :)

I have met a couple of celebrities and I've always just been polite and say that I've been a fan or whatever. They get mobbed so much by fans, I don't want to be one of those mobbers too...

I'd be busting on the inside but for outside appearances, I'd act like I couldn't care less and (yawn) I stand next to celebrities everyday
