Hi,I really want a mp3 player but i don't know anything about it. Can someone please tell me how to charge it,how to download music,what itcomes with and everything else i need to know, I wanna get one at best buy so please help and how much does it cost to download music and how can you download music with out paying money? Please help me oh yeah and keep in mind Iam only 11 years old and I don't want my parents to buy me something that will break really quickly and I don't know how to use so plesae answer. Which one is better ipod or mp3 and why?

Most MP3 players when plugged into the computer open a folder on the screen. You just drag the MP3 files you want into it. You can get the files from CDs you already have or buy songs for about $1 each on the internet. Most songs that people get free by downloading are illegal. They use a program such as Limewire. The recording industry is cracking down on these free downloads and many people are paying thousands of dollars in fines.

I suggest you go to Best Buy or Walmart and talk to a salesperson with your questions. If he/she doesn't sound like they know what they are talking about.... politely leave and try someone else. You may also ask your friends about theirs and what they think about it.

you are 11, you should wait till you are older to get an MP3
