I have been to most states. I do have to say that my favorite is probably Washington-namely Seattle area. Because it is beautiful with great scenery and still lots of things to do.
But all states have their own great things. They are all beautiful in at least one area and it really just depends on what you like and what you are looking for.
My second would probably have to be NYC though I am not big on upstate NY.

I would say that my favorite state would be Tennessee. This summer Dad and I went on a road trip to D.C. and took some side trips and went through Kentucky and Tennessee and the Apalacian mountain area. I just loved Tennessee most of all because of the hills and the b-e-a-utiful mountains and valleys and it is just great. If you haven't been there I totally suggest driving in that area!
P.S. I am from Iowa

I don't really have one. I think all states are equal just like people.
The reason I dont have one is because every state had a president that gave tham that state. So each state has an equal part to make the US a good country

Although I've never been to it, or any part of the US, California has always been a interesting place for me. It seems to be the right ambiance for a good time, with some of the coolest areas in the world in that state.
I will go there, some day. :D

I was in Ironwood, Michigan; Duluth, Minnesota; and in various cities in Wisconsin. They're all equivalent to me.
