Of course. This offseason a lot of mediocre players are being over-paid. Gary Mathews got $50 million from the Halos. I would bet about $40 nillion of that is due to that catch he made.

he did but sod does every baseball player in the MLB. Pierre is a unique player who can steal bases and doesn't strike out a lot. He can get in the head of a pitcher which helps other batters while he is on base. He can change the game around pretty quickly. But anways he still got overpaid

A guy that can't hit the ball 250 feet got paid 9 million dollars to hit the ball under 250 feet, run (when he gets on), and play mid-average outfield, YES! Outrageous, oh well, it just means Manny will be worth more and we can get Brandon Wood AND Howie Kendrick for him :)

He sure did!! Watched him play last year for the Cubs and he looked like a Little League player at the plate swinging, couldn't get the ball out of the infield!

No, he's a great ballplayer. Defense, Contact Hitting, and Stealing Bases. Plus he doesn't juice up.

Yes, but he knew the Cubs needed him, and so he got what he wanted. You'd do the same.
