Taxes wont increase because you have a population that is not allowed schooling and access to medical care.
Owners can save money on labor so they can sell their products cheaper and not drive up costs. This can have long term benefits because it allows working class families to build wealth.
Its a hard topic, thats all I got. Slavery sucks. The other side will win no matter what you say because it is the morally right thing to do.

Slaves as such are inferior peoples.
Inferior people NEED to be guided and protected. So slavery is beneficial to their continued education and social status in the society of man.
Slaves do not know better, have no morals and no ethics. By being slaves, a master, can teach the proper ethics and morals as God so created and endowed upon their master.
Slaves left to their own would become disorderly, they have no
sense of civiliasion. They MUST be brought to heel so they do not tear apart mankind or themselves. Why left on their own they would soon be killing each other off over very foolish things like their superstitions and uncultured ideas.
Slaves benefit the nation by giving it an eager and easily manageable workforce to do jobs that are beneath the dignity of good men. Their skills of mind are so small that they could not survive without such jobs as their masters can afford them. They are the backbone of any strong nation.
Slaves are endorsed by God in the Old Testament. They should be treated well as prescribed in the Good Book, but never let shown to be equals with their masters. Or else god would never have allowed them to be slaves in the first place.
Slaves are good for business. If you were to pay workers a wage consummate with that of decent folk, then the prices of everything would become so high that people would have to work three times harder than a slave just to afford a loaf of bread. Now that is just plain wrong.
Slaves will do jobs that decent folk should not have to. Now you have decent folk washing, scrubbing, cleaning out the stalls, of standing in the field all day picking or reaping or planting. That's not work fit for common folk. But slaves LOVE that work. That's what they do best. That is the way life just is. Some serve and some
ARE served. God even is served by his Angels, do you think they get paid? Do they have a right to vote? No God is a king, no one votes. They do as God commands and they are happy and sing his praises just as slaves in the fields do the same.
That should get you started, if it hasn't made you sick yet.

Well to begin with, pro slavery existed in the south during the civil war. The southern economy during the civil war used slave labor , which in truth was a boon to their economy. Slavery in a sense is immoral, and to this day still exists, not in america but other countries still. The confedercy used slave labor to pick cotton, etc... Cotton which was a big export during that time. Without slave labor, well the southern economy fell apart. So in a sense being a pro slavery person was good in a sense, to the southern economy. If slaves are used to boost a countries economy in any way. Being a pro slavery person could be a good thing, if you lived in that country maybe.
But as for me I am against slavery, and think its immoral and wrong. As I said before if slavery is used to help an economy well being a pro slavery person could be good, if one lived in that country, and the country couldnt survive without it. But overall I am against it and wished it never came about.
Hope this answer helps you with your speech or debate on tuesday.
Good Luck and Hope you do well.

By depriving of basic human rights and turning workers into property, you can realize the maximum profit for not spending any more than absolutely necessary to produce the goods, in such areas as wages, safety, and well-being of the workers.
Also, the wage becomes one time expense where as regular worker's wage is recurring. By definition, slaves are property. If one dies due to natural causes or accidents, you can replace it (him/her) with better functioning new ones.
Folks, this is a topic for debate and the asker needs the pro side of the slaverly. If slaverly is good or bad, or humane or otherwise is besides the point for this question. Debate on issues that is known to be bad and try to argue the other side (on this impossible equation) is a good way to learn how to debate.

Slavery helps the economy because you have workers who you don't have to pay, who you can work as hard as you want. With a hired hand, you'd have to keep him happy, only work him so hard, et cetera, but with slavery you can get 16 hours of work per person. You can also breed slaves and have an ever-multiplying labor pool.
Slavery also helps natural selection. Naturally, the weak slaves will die before they can reproduce, and since you're breeding, you end up with very strong slaves that will reproduce and make stronger and stronger slaves. The only hard part is keeping them stupid and keeping down the occasional rebellion or two. With a shotgun, it's not too hard.

I guess the whole idea is learning how to defend the indefensible.
I would suggest you refer to the Biblical sources that deal with slavery, and that this gives the guidance of how to deal with slaves fairly, and is evidence that it is a morally sound practice. That should at least give you a starting position, maybe even one your opponent isn't prepared to refute. After all, it isn't mere history, it's God and all that jazz.
In the alternative, you could broaden the definition of "slavery" to any form of involuntary servitude, and discuss prison labor, involuntary taxation, and the Draft (which exists in most "free" countries besides the US). This would force your opponent to accept a "partial slavery" position by accepting these practices, or would force him to take a very radical position by opposing them.

Any school that would want you to debate the "pros" on slavery is amazingly sick. I realize it is just debate, but do they know what is going on in the Sudan and specifically Darfur? 400,000 dead, over 2 million displaced, thousands dying every month. There ARE no PROS. Shame on your debate teacher!
