Balderdash. English is the easiest language to learn.

First of all, it's one of the few languages that has no gender or cases. Pretty much all we have is present, past, or future tense, there is no Accusative, Locative, Masculine or Feminine Declinsions.

Second, if someone makes an error in speaking English, the listener will generally ignore it, assuming the error to either be an American idiom they've never heard before or a play on words they don't quite get, but will infer the intended meaning contextually.

I am shoe you will see this for yourself.

A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the Internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of on line courses, which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzpt

Yep, it's tricky.

You can POLISH your shoes, or hire a POLISH man.

You can FIRE someone, or you can start a FIRE.

Read is the same spelling for all tenses.

It's insane.
