Now the trivia . the first few copies of the single were printed with the words ..(it tastes just like coca cola) but the coke company made the Kinks change the words to cherry cola because they hadn,t been given permission to use the brand name. If you find a single with the words coca cola on it is worth quite a lot of money

The Kinks. Ray Davies supposedly said that he would never give permission for anyone else to perform it because this is something that really happened to him. I'm sure there are rock buffs out there who know more about this than I do.
The Barry Manilow song is called Copacabana and it is sacrelige to put it in the same category with Lola!
