sin(2A)=sin(A+A)=sinAcosA + sinAcosA=2sinAcosA

The formula for sin(a+b) is

sin(a + b) = sina cosb + cosa sinb

right?

so

sin(A + A) = sinA cosA + cosA sinA = 2 sinA cosA
