Whats the name of this shipwreck?

Today I went to the Liverpool/Birkenhead area for a Doctor Who exhibiton. When we were driving down the road we passed a shipwreck of a battleship standing next to a warehouse. Anyone have an idea of it's identity?

I researched for only one and one half hours, and found modern shipping info, but no wrecks in Liverpool. I did find a site by a man who photographs all manner of shipping in Liverpool. He may know the ship and the dock. You can email him at philipbparker@btinternet.com.
