It depends on what she likes. Anythin scented might make her sneeze or she might like a certain scent. A gift from Fredricks of Hollywood isn't really a gift for her *wink*. Gift certificates are great but not very personal. A day at the spa is real nice. Jewelry is great! But does she like it? Might she like something for the house? Like a vanity? A Tiffany lamp? A decrative mirror? ok ok..just some ideas. Sorry to get carried away. lol

I hate when my hubby ask other people about gift advice. They always suck, really bad. So instead, the two of you should make a Santa List, then you will have a general idea what she wants. Then you can surprise her with the highest quality of what she is expecting. And don't forget breakfast in bed Christmas morning.

I'd like a gift certificate for a massage.

Maybe if you have kids you can do something like arrange to take care of the kids all day and let her have a day to herself. A spa day? Buy her a gift certificate for a massage, a movie ticket, a couple of gift cards for some of her favorite stores. Then let her have a mom's day out?

Just a guess. I'd really like that.

Go to dinner. A buffet is always nice, not too formal. Plenty to eat, good food if you get the right place. If you guys eat a lot it can also be cost effective.
An enjoyable evening to yourselves is worth as much as any gift.

Have a certificate made up at a printing place declaring the week of XXX her week off from all household duties. You cook, you clean, you do the laundry for the entire week...and you do it with a smile on your face.
