I have known him my entire life, and even though we grew up together, he has always been the hardest person to shop for. And this year, there are 6 of us who drew names for a gift exchange, and I got his name. The rules are a $50 price limit, and you can't give money or gift cards. He is from a very rich family, so basically he already has anything he would want, and all he ever asks for Christmas is cash, but I can't do that this year. He likes basketball, though he recently quit the team, and he is learning to play guitar. Any CDs I have thought of, he already has on his iPod. I'm just looking for some helpful suggestions, otherwise I'll end up getting him a couple t-shirts somewhere.

It sounds like a perfect idea. I'm not sure how much a video gfame from Best Buy costs whether it's $30 or more, but it would be the perfect place for a gift card from him.

Why don't you try a thoughtful gift like why don't you try making something like a scar or something take him to a rock concert buy him guitar lessons or offer to pay some of his lessons remember the thought counts =D
