i currently have a 1.25 zetec and i would like to make the car quicker in a straight line.

none fit directly, you have to mess about with engine mountings and gearbox mountings, drive shafts wiring loom and brakes.
and suspension

I've seen 2.0 cossies with 4wd systems in. Be a big job though. Should be ok with a 2 litre zetec. How about a hayabusa engine for a different slant on going fast. Good for the 6 speed sequential box aswell! Maybe a cheaper and easier option. Go for it mate!

A mondeo engine should fit, though you will have your work cut out with the wiring and running gear changes.
