I dont drive and have always tried to get to where I need to go on my own by public transport. One of my friends needed another car and between us we made a signed agreement that she would help me with my appointments as long as she was well enough to do so. The car is in her name and she pays all the costs. Most times when I have needed her she has taken me. All of a sudden she now expects me to contact her through others which I have told her I dont like as no one else is involved in the agreement.
The other day I asked her to take me to the bank, she said she could not do it, then I happen to see her up the street where the bank was. I was angry to see her with another friend when she could have taken me. I dont expect her to take me every where she goes. I want to be kind and tactful handling this problem. She used to visit me a lot now she never comes any more. I am not well myself now and need help to get to appointments. Any suggestions please?

try getting your license, and depend on yourself, it never works depending on someone else.

Well.... i dont know how binding your signed agreement is. Being that you have not invested in the car with her she is not required to do anything for you. As a friend, she should help where she can... but she is not obligated to do so. I would recommend trying to do all your errands in one day and making and appointment for this one day a week outing in advance as much as possible. If this is too much of a problem... go back to doing it the old way... on your own. she might begin to miss you and try to rekindle the relationship. Friendships have thier peaks and valleys... you might just be in a valley now. Step back and see what happens

U made a bad deal w/ a bad friend...
If u had to put it in writing..that wz your warning sign right there! Sorta like a pre-nup gone bad.
Pick friends that u can depend on...those that do what they say they r going to do. It's simple.
