The flooring I've got is not the usual tongue and groove, which I have laid before no problems. This is called Profi-loc, and has a ridiculus type of click together system. It can click longways fine, but not the small bit where the two planks meet in the middle. The edging on the end does not reach quite far enough. It has a stupid hump on one side, which has to click into the other and get past this other bit and fit into a little groove on this lip. Difficult to explain really. I am really *issed off with it as my mother bought it (got the same flooring as b4 but different clicky stuff) and as on offer etc can't take it back. Have cut a few planks from one pack. Have told her to take it back but she won't (She'd rather get someone else to do it), if all else fails do you think I'd have a good case to return it? Though I would prefer to get it work if I don't burn it all first. Please help...................

I have a pull bar already. Though this will assist with fitting the floor, I can't get the boards to click together widthways (I can lengthways), a good hammering with the pull bar does not work..

Hi. It is relatively easy to get it to click. Just get a tool from any store that sells laminate flooring. It is z shaped and is laid along the length of the board with one end of the z on the end of the board andf the other upright. Hit the upright end with a hammer and hey presto it pops the boards together. I presume you are in the uk so go to B&Q. Thier web site is www.diy.co.uk . The cost is minmal compared to the ease of use and removal of frustration, Hope this helps.

This is so ironic, my son just laid mine and it sounds like the same thing. He tried by himself and concluded that he needed a second person to help, it took two people to steady and click into place. It looks great! Remember two, go find your buddy to help.
