One of my friends says she is on the Far Left and I asked her how is that different from being merely on the Left politically.
Her only response was was that she cared more honestly than more moderate liberal /democrats.
What do you think the difference is ?

That really depends where you are yourself,where you define the center.
Some people even call the Clinton's far left while they are moderate in my view.
Historically communism,being for the nationalization of everything and the end of private ownership,is considered far left.

Being left means you want government to take care of you at the expense of the working people. Being far left means you want the government to base it's decisions on what the French surrender monkies think.
