Three essay questions?? Um.. what are the health consequences of coca cola... how did coca cola come into existance... what are some of the promotions coca cola has used to market it's product (ie the polar bear). Good luck !!

Here are a few ideas, I don't know if this will be helpful to you at all.
-What sparked the creation of coca cola (the history)
-What major changes have occured with the coca cola company in the past
-Which direction do you see the company going in the future.
-How do you think that coca cola has stayed near the top. What makes it special and why is it's name so recognized all over the world.

Was listening to NPR Science Friday yesterday and there was a piece on there about how so much of our fast-food diet is corn-based. There was no such thing as "high fructose corn syrup" until (I think the author said) 1970. Now, Coca-Cola is 100% "corn", being made of high fructose corn syrup; the MEAT in a McDonald's burger is 57% corn; the BUN is mostly made of corn; even the "healthy" Newman salad dressing contains high fructose corn syrup. Most of our diet is...corn. And the Mexicans think they are the "corn people," said the author. NO! WE are, here in North America.
There's one idea for you.
Wish I could remember the name of the book or the author, and can't, but you can probably find that by looking up www.npr.org and looking for the Science Friday page.
