YEs, I think so. I think my sister's house may have high levels of a cetain type of energy; haunted? I'm not sur.
Lights, kettles, the radio, the t.v., all switch themselves on and off; sometimes in the middle of the night.
Items have disappeared for months at a time; a watch, rings; and reappeared without warning in the place they had been left in.
The main bedroom at times turns icy cold , especially if something electrical has come on.
Her landlord has suggested that the house is built on ley lines, which is interesting; it would explain the energy levels going up and down.
However, it have to be a meeting or junction of ley lines in order for this to happen.
I have been in the house when the tv came on of it's own accord.
It felt a bit spooky. she has got used to it, but haunted?
Still not sure.

Yes. Watch the SciFi channel's Ghost Hunters; these guys do a great job of debunking obvious non-hauntings. See the episode where they are in the basement of the hotel used in Stephen King's The Shining.
I have an office that I made from a home that is over 100 years old. A child died in the house in 1917. One night while working late, I saw a sweet 5-6 year old girl, no front teeth, looking at me from behind the receptionist desk...she then disappeared. I searched the building, both floors, to no avail. She could not have gotten out if she were flesh and blood as I had the door and window alarms armed.
I have seen her since. She makes a lot of noise--like a child running across the floor--, sometimes knocking lightly.
One of my employees was there and got completely freaked out with what he heard.
Of course, I cannot rule out something that comes from me; or in general, some brain ability to manifest these things, like telekinesis.

Yes.

I heard so many of haunted house at my home town. I lived in a haunted house before when I was a kid, we sometimes see a lady in black sitting at our staircase ( we can only see her back) And my X neighbor always found a lady in white sitting in her toilet.

I think maybe because the location of that house was once jungle where these haunting creature lives and when the houses are built there, these creatures became angry and they get their revenge by haunting our homes.

I could say that a house CAN be haunted depending on the location and it's history.

The short answer is yes. The long answer is......Depending upon you superstitions it is quite feasible for a house to be haunted. There are some who will fight you tooth and nail to deny the super-natural as act against god. Meaning that all souls and spirits must move on to the next plan and all thoughts otherwise are satanic. Now for normal rational thinkers and the ones open to learn there are many places to visit and see if things or house can be haunted.

Definitely a house can be haunted and sometimes an object can have a spirit(s) that has attached itself to it. You can move the object to another location and the ghost goes with it. Even a person can have a ghost/spirit that follows them around. I personally have been pursued by a demonic entity that I had foolishly conjured while living on Long Island, NY. It followed me to college in West Virginia. I had many encounters in the year and a half after the first materialization.
I apologize for digressing from your question. My Mother loved the house she and my Dad purchased after he returned from the Pacific after World War 2. After she had died in a hospital 10 miles away she returned to her beloved house. She was seen by two other people besides myself. There is a good show on the SciFi cable network called "Ghost Hunters" they are a group of people called TAPS and they investigate hauntings logically and scientifically. There are many forms or types of hauntings that can occur in dwellings. They investigate hauntings and try to find natural reasons for hauntings.

No. People who believe in ghosts and spirits are mental. How could a spirit appear, wearing clothes? Clothes would eventually disintegrate. Poltergeist hunters on TV supposedly have electronic gizmos which detect spirits. Well, where did they find the schematic to build one? It's all hokum. UFOs don't exist either, they were invented in 1947. People who say they've been abducted? Stay away from them, they're tards. No such thing as werewolves, bigfoot, aliens, vampires, Easter bunny, Santa Claus, or tooth fairy. House makes a creaking sound? So? All houses settle, pipes bang, wind causes shingles and loose aluminum to flap in the breeze. It's all baloney.

Yes I grew up in a haunted house.I was scared of that darn old place! Kids burnt it down several years ago. I guess now she haunts the ground that the house once stood on.

yes a house can be haunted and it can be haunted for many reasons, but not many living people are aware of the spirit world and those that are either believe in it because they want to or they don't believe in it even when they're senses tell them otherwise.

As the theory goes with ghosts if you believe then a spirit remains when a person feels they have not died or there life was taken wrongly or they simply were not ready to go, therefor if they refuse to pass over then they remain here and is apparently as scary and confusing for them to accept they are actually dead sometimes . do i believe id like to. but that's how house could be haunted .

Yes! I have been a paranormal Researcher for many years now, and my group is called Eden's Eve. I have a great deal of experience in speaking with the so called Dead!
Some spirits have been lost for many years, sometimes hundreds. They do not know they have died, and even if they do, they do not know how to go to the Light. Some spirits believe that because they did something that many call a 'sin' that they do not deserve to go to Heaven and they refuse to go into the light. They are simply afraid. Many spirits stay without bodies upon the Earth, as they wish to be born into another body and have another try, but it is always best to go into the light and consult with a guide before trying this again. Reincarnation is for those souls who have not finished living upon the Earth and wish to accomplish more. Those who no longer need to reincarnate do not come back, into new born lives.
Many times when I go into a cemetery, I announce my arrival and pray to God for protection. There are many religions but most believe in a true God. Every spirit can be helped if they believe that they have died. Some live on in homes where they once lived before death, as they do not wish to believe they are dead.
One should always speak to the dead, as if they were still living and with respect. Treat them kindly and do not be afraid. Sometimes they simply want attention, but all, in my opinion, should be given a chance to cross over.
There are also what we call 'Dark Spirits". These Dark entities do not wish for any spirit to cross over, and sometimes try to keep spirits earth bound. This is why, before conversing with any house bound spirits, one needs to pray for the greatest protection, or seek the help of someone who can not only speak to the spirits, but can determine, what you are dealing with, in the first place.
