Stay true to yourself. If there was no one around, how would you be? Would you be a tomboy or would you be girly - or a combination of the two? However way you would be - Be That! Harli, don't change to please others or to prevent being rejected or to get a boyfriend or to keep a best friend. Be yourself and stay true to who you are. You're beautiful as is.

You should just be you. If the real you is a tomboy be a tomboy or if the real you is girly be girly. Or heres a crazy idea be a little bit of both. When you are yourself you are truely happy and surrounded by those that truely like you. If people are treating you differently then they really weren't your true friends and don't worry about it. Just be yourself and everything will fall into place.

If you like girly then be girly but if you liked being a tomboy then be a tomboy. I think that you should do whatever you feel most comfortable with and if you're friends don't like it and they treat you differently (in a bad way) then they are not real friends.

"Just be yourself" is hard advice to take -- harder than a lot of people realize, esp. when many people around you look a certain way. If you're comfortable being more feminine, then fine. Dressing up and putting on makeup is fun...But make sure you're comfortable. I was a tomboy throughout school and when I tried to get all dolled up I felt kind of awkward. It wasn't until I was in my adult years that I started to feel comfortable wearing whatever the hell I wanted.
Going back to it -- it might be hard to feel confident about it at times, but my own personal advice would be to focus on how YOU feel about yourself -- don't go girly just because you think boys'll like you more. But that's just my take on it -- if you want lots of male attention, well, sometimes they like the girlly girls. And sometimes they LOVE tomboys. :) Find a guy who likes you just the way you are!

From a guy point of view,
Be your self. Guys like girls that are them self. If you like to dress like a tomboy go for it. dressing like a tomboy or girly does not matter, what matter is how you are as a person. That what counts.
good luck!

be normal, be yourself. if your friends are pressuring you to be a girly than just be yourself and stiil have the same friends. I have the same problem I dress as if I'm on the boy's basketball team and my friends complain a lot but I don't care they aren't me and they don't have charge of what i do and dress. so do what I do, try you won't lose a thing..... feel free to im me any time you want if you want to talk more! :)

I personally prefer girly girls. But I say do whatever you like, and whatever makes you feel like yourself.

well first of all never change for others. this is a hard question for someone to answer other than yourself, because you shouldnt do anything for this drastic for any reason other than to help yourself. you just have to sit down and think long and hard what you want, who you are. please dont try to be anything that your not, you will never be happy, you just need to do what feels right, deep deep down inside you you know, you will never be truly happy until you love yourself and be yourself. i hope this was helpful to you!!

You should just do both. i do. That way, you can still be comfortable with yourself, but still have that girly appeal.
