i am thinking of doing a voluntary work in the UK, so that i can have a working experience in management field in other to help my CV / future job employments. can anyone tell me what to do and how to go about it? I am new to all this... I live outside the UK. thank you.

I would like to work in any industry, the most important thing i want to have is the working experience..... does any one have any directory of companies that offers possible working experience for students? any information would be greatly appreciated.

I think it is admirable to want to do volunteer work. I am not sure why you would want to do it in the UK instead of your home country. In any case, it is doubtful whether you could initially land a management position without having experience in volunteer work. You could start out volunteering and work your way up. Any volunteer work would certainly look good on your resume. But, I think what you learn volunteering is much more important than a few lines on a resume.

You sound as though you want to volunteer at a managerial level. This is not likely to be available; most work experience/internships are at lower trainee levels.

anyway, what field do you want to work in? 'Management' isn't really a field in itself - it's just a level you work at. Pick an industry. You could try sending your CV to relevant companies and finding out if they ever have work experience opportunities.
