First write down the equation.
H3PO4 + 3NaOH -> Na3PO4 + 3H2O
Ratio of H3PO4 : NaOH = 1 : 3
So 6.0 mol of H3PO4 will react completely with the 6.0 mol of NaOH(i.e. none of them is in excess or limiting)
Then, ratio of H3PO4 = 1 : 3
Hence, no. of moles of water = 3 x 2.0 = 6.0 mol

Answer B 4.0 mol

First you must write and balance the equation.

H3PO4 + 3NaOH yields Na3PO4 + 3H2O

This tells you for every 1 mole of H3PO4 you would produce 3 moles of H2O

or

For every 3 moles of NaOH you would produce 3 moles of H2O

Since you have 2 moles of H3PO4 and 6 moles of NaOH you produce 4 moles of H2O (there is no limiting reagent)

B cuz there are 9 hydroggen and 10 oxygen in all the compund, since water is H2O, so there can be only 4 mol of water created cuz there are only 9 hydrogen

there are 12 hydrogen and 14 oxygens molecules in total the water molecule is H2O so 12/2 = 6
concluding there are 6 moles of water
