Ok, you said you did a a system restore, disk clean, defrag and virus scan, but did you restart your computer when they were all finished? If you didn't then that could be the problem. You should always restart after doing any of those things. Especially if the anti-virus and anti-spyware software has found anything. This will ensure that it is removed completely from your computer.

If you've already done that then try another anti-spyware program. Maybe it will get what your other program didn't.

I hope this helps. Good luck!!!

Before I can tell you whats wrong with your PC I need to understand something. Is your internet connections slow or is it your PC?

You mentioned that sending emails and going from page to page (on websites I guess) are slow. Is it slow when you open other programs on your PC? like word or excel? Adobe reader? If other programs are ok then its most probably your internet connection that gone slow rather than your PC. If everythings slow then ofcourse its your PC.

If you think its your internet connection then you can test it. If you have firefox then you can install an extension called Bandwidth Meter. Once installed it will give you your upload and download speeds. From that you can tell what kind of speeds you are getting. If you don't have Firefox then do a google search and you will find sites that do this test as well.

If your PC is slow then I will need to sit with it to figure it out. If you know someone who has good IT skills then you can ask them. Reinstalling your Operating System is a good idea at times.

Good luck!!

Since you had mentioned that its your email and websurfing that is super slow its certainly a networking problem. Defragging, and system restore aren't going to have an effect on the speed of you internet connection. To test your internet connection open up a command prompt:
start --> run --> type cmd --> press enter -->

Type ping 127.0.0.1. This will test your local connection to the internet. If you notice lots of packets being dropped than its certainly a problem on your local machine.

Then type ping www.google.com. This will check your WAN connection. If you notice lots of packet loss here than its probably a connection problem between your machine and your ISP.

Who knows it may just be a temporrary glitch on the part of your ISP. If this is a recent problem i'd wait a couple of days and see if it gets fixed.

Hope this helps, with networking this could be the result of alot of various problems. I had a similar problem a week ago. It turned out that the RJ45 connector on my CAT5 cable was bad.

the main user-friendly reason for a gradual workstation I even have considered is low on memory (RAM). while the call for exceeds the available memory, the workstation starts off using digital memory (or swap area). This motives sections of memory (pages) to be copied to disk, then retrieved. And a diskchronic is a *lot* slower than RAM. severe use of digital memory motives precisely the style of situation you describe. try watching your gadget visual reveal unit, to be sure how lots memory you have, and what the call for is. you may would desire to purchase and installation greater RAM. You did not say what working gadget you have. in case you have abode windows, the gadget visual reveal unit is named "job supervisor." you will get to it with "fc5364bf9dbfa34954526becad136d4b34823136d0dd91d0f5d22db740f7679c99af53f601532dbd31eea99ffdeb64" and then the "job supervisor" button. you ought to use the gadget visual reveal unit to be sure what utility is taking using the main CPU, the main memory, has the main internet site faults, etc. (you could pick a column, and have it type on that column.) you will not unavoidably be waiting to nicely known each and all the names, nonetheless. once you run a software, it may do its artwork with the aid of spawning different strategies cooperate to do the artwork. additionally, a brilliant style of the strategies would be a area of the working gadget. you may would desire to accomplish a sprint examine, mutually with internet searches, to make your ideas up what each and each technique is for. whether, the certainty that this got here on suddenly is suspicious. So, it can be a pandemic or different malicious utility. some working structures make it easier to as nicely in a style that has minimum drivers and amenities. (On abode windows, it somewhat is named "risk-free mode." You press the F8 key early interior the boot technique to pick it.) it somewhat is somewhat helpful as nicely in risk-free mode and run your virus scanner. you may additionally choose to be sure in case you will get carry of a boot CD (or different media) that has a pandemic scanner on it. with the aid of booting from a CD not burned on your pc, you isn't working any utility on your device that motives problems. So, any malicious utility you have on your gadget isn't activated. (it somewhat is assuming this is not a CD-R, or CD-RW burned from an contaminated device.) consequently some advertisement protection utility usually consists of a boot CD.

the porno seems a good idea to me but a quicker fix is
start
type msconfig
goto the startup tab and uncheck everything that isnt essensial to you at boot up time.
then in the same window click the services tab and check the hide all microsoft services button now uncheck everything that is left
now i promise you your machine will boot and run faster than it did before another thing to do is DO NOT RELY ON ONE SPYWARE PROGRAM i use 2 as spybot finds stuff that adaware doesnt and vice versa
