So im going to a dinner tonight with my parents and I'm supposed to meet this girl. She just got adopted by my dads friend and apparently she was like just given up for adoption for her moms drugs or something (how stupid). Anyway so basically im the most protected person in the world.(never had a relative die, no divorces, no break ups in the family, no major fights, nothing at all). So you know Im 14 and this girl is like either 13-14. I dont know what to do. Do I just treat her normal? or what?

straight answer - 'go n meet her'. U seem to be quite influenced with ur parents protection but the question is how long would u take it like this.Some day or other u have to take a go all alone as everyone has to then why not right now. when ur parents r around u to help u in any case of messup.
com'n mama's boy go n learn to judge people by their character not by their background.
u make a mistake n learn instead of lukking to mums for every decision. No girl wud love n respect u for that, REMEMBER THAT, irrespective of ur good or bad background girls luv MAN an jst care babies.

I would, just cuz sum-1 was raised differently duzn't mean that they're gunna be a bad person or need to be treated different than any-other person. I would treat her as though i didn't know that she was addopted or from an abusiive family hope i could help!
