to get into america do you need a 90 day freezer. or is it 60 days?

I stayed until it run out but not sure exactly how long I stayed for!

I'm assuming you mean visa and not a freezer. A tourist visa will last no longer than 90 days. However, it is at the discretion of the immigration officer as to long the visa will last. You need to check the date in your passport stamp as to when you have to leave by.
