15-20y+14y=14-35y
15-6y=14-35y
29y=-1
y= -1/29

5(3-4y)+14y=7(2-5y)
15-12y+14y=14-35y distribute
15+2y=14-35y collect like term
15+37y=14 add 35y on both side
37y= -1 minus 15 on both side
y= -1/37 divide both side by 37

If your question is what is y such that your equation is true then the algebraic solution is:

y = -1/29

If your question is what is y such that your equation is false then the algebraic solution is:

y = [-Infinity,-1/29),(-1/29,Infinity] (or all real numbers excluding -1/29)

My point is that an equation is not a question. You should do your own algebra by the way.
