Why dont they give more information?
A lot easier to answer the question with the right info.

If they knew what information to give, they could probably take that information and solve their own problems. Stop complaining, you are not the only one whose fortunes depend on the ignorance of others. If they knew all that you know they would not need you and then where would you be?

I think both you and Drakeston each have a point. I work in IT and I know how crazy it is when you get a work order with no information. But I also know when people think they know a lot and give wrong information.

In most cases people don't know much about PCs. Its weird to think this when you think that todays kids are growing up with PCs yet they don't know the difference between MB and GB (its true!!). Some people are scared to mess around with it while majority just don't want ot know. I guess thats why I have a job!!

In my opinion I would rather ask the questions then be misled with wrong information.

I always do research on my computer for the right answer for people.It may not work but i try.
