lol magic johnson was diagnosed with aids, not michael jordan. I hope this helps. Magic was forced to resign from basketball after being diagnosed, and was one of the saddest moments in sports history.

Neither as Earvin "Magic" Johnson to date is only HIV positive. This basically means that his t-cells are still within acceptable levels. As long as Johnson remains healthy and takes his medication, his t-cells such be stable.
However, once his t-cells dip below a certain level, his status would be upgraded to full-blown AIDS.
As for Michael Jordan, there has not been any reports that he has contracted HIV.
