As a kid (13 until about 16) I was a devoted follower of British rock bands like Pulp, Blur and Oasis. Now Pulp, and effectively Blur, have split, and Oasis have gone a bit off, so I don't listen to the same bands any more. However, I have always liked rock music, having grown up listening to Queen and The Who (my mum is a big fan). I stopped listening to the radio for a while, because no music really inspired me, apart from maybe Kaiser Chiefs, but have recently started listening again. I am impressed by bands like The Kooks and The Feeling etc, so yes, I would say I do listen to the same kind of music as I did when I was a kid.

I'm not over 21, but I'll answer if you dont mind.
Yes. When I was a kid I remember myself listening to the Backstreet Boys, Nsync, Spice girls, and all those little groups. Now I listen to every kind of music, pop, hip hop, latin music, even some rock and rap. It depends mostly on the song. But what I enjoy the most are many songs from the 80s, I just love them, I think there's no music like that anymore.

I have quite a few years between childhood and now and definately have different taste

I do however like to hear a bit of the music that was around during my teen years. That was in the 60's. Yeah old crock.

70's was a bit crap all that Bay City Rollers and so on
80's rocked
didn't go for that punk stuff or all that rap sh*t

Like some of the up to date stuff but not all of it
BT communicator has some good stations on it. Generally listen to "Chillout" and have you seen the christmas classics

Kind of getting a bit older but not ready for pipe and slippers and cocoa before bedtime yet

My Harley still rules. I still like Pink Flloyd when I'm riding. If you are too young search on Yahoo

You work ot the years if I was in mid teens in mid 60's

no because i've always listened to the same type of music then and even to this day i prefer the old tunes over the current ones myself. i'm more into retro pop/rn'b/rap/dance/rock music, mid 80s up until the mid 90s, although i like a bit of 60s and 70s too though being born in the decade of the 80s myself- born in 81 to be precise-,
i am more familar with the music of that era along with the mid 90s. at times, i can get sick of the music radio stations play today and anyway, music today is not all as it's cracked up to be.

My taste in music was dated even when I was a kid because I shared a room with my eldest brother so it was all heavy rock like Led Zep, Black Sabbath, Genesis and Queen, My sisters influenced me a little into some of the hear throb bands like the Police. I've been through fazes of music from hip hop to electro to soul to indie rock to grunge to folk to whatever is new now

At the moment I have everything from Tom Waits to Bell X1 in my car and everything in between. It is a much more fun journey when you follow whats new I guess. Recently liked stuff by Strokes, Cake, Grandaddy, Snow Patrol, Muse, Tom Baxter, Jack L

Ah sure of course it's different. When I was a wee man the feckin Osmonds and the Jackson 5 were huge. OH SHITE WE STILL HAVE BOY BANDS !!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yes and no..I still love the Beatles, but seeing as how I'm now a "Woman" I have a much varied taste in music from rock, jazz, swing, blues etc. Went to see Christina last night and she was superb, but also go to many heavy metal gigs too. I suppose it comes with age and experience. But I did have good music taste as a child too

Hell yes I was influenced by my dad's taste in music when I was young which was rock - AC/DC etc although I hated a lot of it there are some that have remained with me and are some of my favs Since you been by gone by Rainbow, Floyd I still find amazing and even a few by 10CC

Flloyd is still one of my favs to date but other than that totally different to what I was brought up with/liked when I was younger

Isn't is strange though - I even liked boy bands now I detest them

I still listen to the same kind of music as I did, but I've also broadened my view and listen to a wider variety now. (And I'm over 30 btw)

absolutely, I used to be a huge heavy metal fan, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath Motley Crue etc... today Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead and much more mellow and insightful stuff. I still listen to metal, but mostly when I go out.
