NOt the right place for this q if I read it right. /Try alternative health. Still, "weed" ie: marijunana, has medicinal uses, widely ignored by politics, with fewer side affects than many prescribed medicines, chemo relief, PMS, glaucoma, bulimia, menopause, others. It is not good for you if you have to drive some where or make important decisions. Like many prescribed medications, it can impair your reflexes and your judgement. If they can come up with a test for actually being under the influence at a given moment, like with alcohol, you may find some relief about it's use as a medicine. It's a valuable herb. Let's hope the politicians get reasonable soon.

Now if you are talking about weeds in general, they can be valuable as compost, particuliarly if not allowed to go to seed. Many"weeds" are actually very nutritious foods and were standbys in the past. IN fact dandelions were imported for their food value along with plantians and some sorrels.
DON'T SPRAY IT, EAT IT. WE wouldn't have lawn weeds and would not need so much herbicides if people had any clue of what is good food.

Absolutly not crazy. There are edible weeds. I've just watched this cooking show and they used some weeds to cook. Edible weeds are high in nutrients and minerals, like iron, and vitamins. And they don't use pesticide like cultivated herbs do. Most people are already eating weeds like Oregano and Thyme. Primrose is used as medicinal purpose.

These are some weeds that are edible:-

Stinging nettle - cooked young leaves can be eaten like spinach, added to soups and egg and vegetable dishes. Do not consume raw leaves, they are covered with highly irritating hairs thus the name STINGING nettle.

Dandelion - the flowers can be made into wine or jelly. The roots are sometimes used as a coffee substitute. The young leaves make a nice addition to salads.

Chicory - the roots of this plant are used as a coffee additive. The sky blue flowers are also edible and make a terrific addition to salads.

Milk thistle - the young leaves with the spines removed are eaten raw or cooked as a spinach-like vegetable. The flower buds can be eaten, they are like miniature artichokes.

All of the above. A lot of people drink to help settle their nerves but weed will do the same thing and it's not as hard on your body as alcohol. Also, I've never seen anyone who smoked get violent and mean like drinkers do.
