I am planning a trip to Mexico next year for just a week. This will be my first time going. Any ideas on which city to stay @? I'm interested in going to a beach and just relaxing while at the same time having time to party at night. Any ideas?

Recently went to Puerto Vallarta. They have an interesting boardwalk along the waterfront. Lots of bar. Shopping. Street entertainment. Tours. Para sailing. Fishing. I had a great time and would go back. However I think Cancun is more Upscale from what I hear. Look thru the Website: all about mexico.com if you haven't decided where to go yet...

Rosarito Beach in the state of Baja California Norte is a good choice. Close to the US Border, nice beaches, lively clubs, good shopping. A half hour driving time to Ensenada, for fishing and boating, again a lively town for clubblng with lots of young folks from San Diego. Reasonable prices for drinks and food.
