No it would not be possible. There is an old saying that is true....you can't teach speed. Meaning your 40 time is pretty much set. Now with a lot of weight work and some quickness drills you might drop your 40 time from a 4.9 to a 4.8 given that 3 months time frame. But to drop it a full half second...forget about it, even with 12 months let alone 3 months

Not likly. But not impossible. Anything can be done with hard work. you have to lift weight, for example have mayb 2 leg days a week. Have 1 heavy leg day with low reps (no more than 6) then have a explosve leg day with reps no more that 8 an moderate weight to where you move the weight real fast. Also dont forget to run also run 10 yard sprints, flying 60's and do hills also. If you can Try and cut down some fat cuz thats the easyest way to lower your 40. And make sure you stretch after your workouts. Do dynamic stretching b4 an static stretching after. Static will make you lose power if you do it before your workouts. Just keep workin hard and dont forget the lower your time goes the harder its gonna be to shave that .1 off. Get at me with how thing go man,
PEACE

No, I went from a 5.0 to a 4.5 after four years of hard training throughout highschool football....
The best thing you can do is resistance running exercises, tie that parachute to your back and run like hell. Work on your squats, not only increase your leg speed but also your vertical jump.

Lose weight, run......a lot, and probably take steroids.
I don't at all condone the use of any illegal substances, the damages they cause you body far outweigh the rewards.
This is coming from someone who has never taken steroids, and never will. I have been accused of taking them in the past because I was very muscular and my body responded very well to heavy weight training.
I have had friends who have taken them, and all evidence points to the fact that they are more of a detriment to your body, physically as well as mentally (think: 'roid rage).

it's unlikely but it depends on how u were timed. if u were hand timed then u never know. hand times are verrry inaccurate. also, if you were running it on a track, or the field or a gym matters. i ran a 4.94 electronically timed, but i was in gym shoe on a basketball court. i ran a 4.51 electronically timed on a track in track shoes so you never know.
