The Eurostar is the passenger train which goes from Brussels/Paris to London. Le Shuttle is a vehicular train with no frills where you just stretch your legs by walking about inside the train outside the car/coach/lorry if you feel like it. That goes from Folkestone to Calais. The tunnel itself is called Eurotunnel (English) or TML [Trans-Manche Link] (French) though the English colloquially call it the Channel Tunnel. It was first planned by Napoleon with serious plans mooted in the 1830s but wasn't finished till the early 1990s. Le Shuttle takes around 25-30 minutes from England to France (and vice-versa)
