Begin to study your cycles. Assuming that your periods come normally, study things for at least 4 months. Counting from the last day of your last period till the 1st day of your next one, how many days total are there? What is the most consistent total (ie:21.23. etc.)? Count that way each time. If it misses just slightly one direction or the other, fewer or more (3-5 days high or low), don't worry. Any more, and I would recommend seeing doc. There could be a hormone level change and / or things may need help getting regulated, although USUALLY a girl/woman's body will regulate itself.

I haven't gotten mine either but I've heard that when your weight reaches over 100lbs and you've grown hair and a chest that you've had for 3 years, then you're getting close. There are also certain things that you can tell by your mother's and sister's first period but I don't remember how to do them.

Don't worry you'll get yours soon, I'm going onto 15, but I'm small for my age, my doctors say not to worry until your 17.

To Juniper: It is not 28 days from your last day of your period. It it 28 days from the FIRST day of your last period; every 28 days, not every 28 days PLUS your period. If you're going to give advice, at least get it right.

It's different for everyone but during the week before I get my period I get a little depressed and breasts are sore and slightly enlarged. PMS is different for everyone though.
Do you count the days? That would help.
about 28 days from the last day of your period is when you should get your next one.

well, if you have it already, then about every 28 days...and if you don't have it you may know when its coming or you may not! i got mine when i was at my friends pool party!! we were swimming and when i got home i changed at i relised i had it! then agian my friend got hers very noticable! she had been having cramps for awhile, and also a craving for chocolate! but the two main things to tell when its coming are cravings for anything and cramps....then agian it may just come unoticed. its not anything to worry about, when it happens it happens! good luck <3
