I have no idea. Maybe the Yahoo support staff got sick of people sending them e-mails over stupid stuff they had nothing to do with. Or maybe they were hoping to give all the people who ask sick questions an outlet to stay away from everyone else. Or maybe somebody had a problem finding an answer to a question on the web and thought "Hey, it would be so much easier if there was a place to go to for questions like this...."

From what I remember, Yahoo started a forum where users could ask questions when they couldn't find info on the internet and needed help...and it turned into what it is today....

its a good source of info, they can tally the options and idea's of people on here and guess turn them in for them survey teams, they say they gather personal info to pass on to others.
