Anywhere that sells them. Garden centres and most good markets, though one handy hint: If idiots are going to put their fingers in it (this will kill the plant) they tend to do the front ones, so choose wisely and pick a healthy looking plant from the back.

Most decent garden centres should, but at this time of year any one who knows what they are doing will not be. The plants are tropical and dont like the cold and are dormant during the colder months. Try again in the spring and you should be able to get a good sized plant for about £3, also other carnivorous plants are cool but a bit more expensive. Remember water only with rain water!!

Although just about everywhere that has a plant section sells them you are best to get them direct from the grower.
Venus fly traps do not survive well and will often have problems long before you get them when buying form a chain store.
They have special needs taht these store just can not provide.
I always buy my carnivorous plants direct from the growers.

At a garden centre! Expect to pay a few pounds.
You'll probably lose interest after a day! If that happens, find someone who wants it...don't feed it ham, bacon, cheese etc... like i did! They don't like that!
My 6 year old daughter is fascinated by them. I bought her one and told her the story of mine, then asked her to promise to look after hers. She said "but you didn't" I explained that i made a mistake... "were you just a little child like me?" she asked. "no" i said, "i was 25"
We thought that was very funny. I swear i even heard the Venus fly trap giggle!

I bought mine from a garden centre but didn't have a lot of luck with it. There weren't any flies about then, so the shop assistant told me any insects will do. I tried everything, including tiny bits of dog meat, at the end of a pair of tweezers, but it still died. I always feel really guilty if a plant dies on me; I shan't get another one. Best of luck with yours, though!!!!

Loads of Garden centres sell them, but if you have to show them working, make sure you put a dead fly in the 'trap' as it takes a lot of the plant a lot of resources to reset it's traps and continual 'false triggering' of the traps will kill the plant.

Right now the plants are dormant, so you might want to wait untill spring. I buy all my Carnivorous Plants from Sarracenia Northwest. They are having a clearance right now.
