i always say the same thing when this topic comes up mercedes your looking at stricly luxury and in bmw your looking at performance but still luxury but really its a personal prefrence my family has both and ther both real good cars but i like bmw better just because of the performance even oh and desiel your going to get bored trying to accelerate it takes forever help i helped a bit later!

the bmw is the best because mercedes don't start to get great performance wise until you get up to the S class, AMGs, and all the other high-end series they offer. BMW has always been known for quality manufacturing on all production cars.

Howdy my choice is the mercedes without a doubt bmw nice car but bloody expensive to maintain the merc has better reliability

I would choose the BMW for its sporty looks and handling. But at this level of engines I would choose petrol not diesel...

Personally, D=diesel. I would always take a petrol engine. So neither - BMW 320i nice.....
