You know odd things that you've seen before but when you see them again they sort of make your heart swell in your chest

It can be the oddest things
EG it used to happen to me when I saw the VTR of Red Rum winning his 3rd Grand National
Also when the audience stand up in unison at the end of Riverdance in Milstreet (yeah so that's a bit gay but I said wierd ok)

Okay, you want happy ones.....whenever I see a child that just learned to walk toddle by with their unsure footsteps........whenever I watch 'A Baby Story' or any other show when someone gives birth and they show the mother seeing her child for the first time......sorry, can't think of anything not related to children at the moment (of course I'm a mother).

I'll get back to you if anything else comes to mind. But I do agree with the first answer as well. Oh, that just reminded me, when I see those firefighters at Ground Zero erecting the flag, I well up in a happy way because that was showing the world that we Americans are fighters and it was gonna take more than that to break us.

I feel a bit sad when I see re-runs of any tv series with Robert Urich. He helped me scrape through French A level as I would sit in on Friday night and plan my vocabulary-learning to fit in with what was on tv (I hope I'm not that sad now) and Vegas was one of my favourites. I also enjoyed him in SWAT, Spencer for Hire and numerous tv movies. I only found out he'd died two years after the event. I even gave him several thoughts on a recent trip to Las Vegas, tho' this obviously was not the Vegas of the late seventies tv series.

I am Sam - the move with Dakota Fanning and Sean Penn. SO GOOD. I cry every time. Also, the final of Sex and the City where Charlotte finally adopts a baby. Sheesh, I'm such a girl!!

The movie "It's a Wonderful Life" with James Stewart does that to me every time I watch it. It carries a very good lesson that we must be reminded of.

Every time, but EVERY time someone asks how to deal with losing a beloved pet. I've lost two, and it was like losing my heart. All I have to do is mention the Rainbow bridge and I cry.

Every time I watch the recording of my wedding I feel that way. It's a good feeling, the anticipation and excitement. Pretty much the way I felt when it happened.

Happy holidays.
