One of these have to remove it.

All of these are ones that I personally use and all are free.

Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.

You've got a virus or trojan that mimics Ad-Aware. Get Avast antivirus from http://www.download-avast.com/en/ . Download, install and run it, if you can keep your computer on long enough.

Then get the actual free Ad-Aware and SpyBot from
http://www.download.com/

If you can't keep it running long enough to download anything, and it sounds like that's the case, then do a system restore back to a day before this all started. Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools and System Restore. Anything you downloaded or did after the restore date will be gone, so if you have documents or things like that, that you need to keep, put them on a CD or floppy before the restore action.

Then you should get Avast, SpyBot and Ad-Aware. Keep the last two up to date and run them often. They will find and get rid of this kind of junk for you. Avast updates itself daily.
