Well Camilla 1 U ,theres some real "irony" in there somehow.First of all thank-you for admitting we DID go to the moon.I get so tired of all the misinformed people who question the moon landings saying they were all a hoax.
Secondly,at the time of the moon landings back in the late 60's and early 70's,it became quite fashionable to say things like "if they can land a man on the moon, why can't they cure the common cold!"I've never heard the thing about ironing clothes(not that you do)but it caught my attention.
I kinda thought that we would have those cool little flying cars like on the jetsons by now.I guess the more some things change, the more they stay the same.
P.S.Do you do windows????

Men are more likely to build a pub on the moon than invent self ironing clothes to save us weary women having an extra chore. By the way inventor guys out there, if you all spent more time on inventing things to make a woman's day easier, then we wouldnt be so tired at bed time, so more sexx for you guys!

Unlike the UK and Australia a majority of people in the US do not iron - they wash, dry and fold. I can do this with clothes that I have purchased in the US but not so much with those purchased in Australia. I think a lot of their clothing is made from wrinkle free fabrics and the majority of people use their clothes dryers which have permanent press features that gently dry the permanent press clothes with minimum wrinkling.

Like you I hate ironing so I try to avoid it at all costs. Our habits/practices have not yet caught up to the US.

We DON'T! Just wear double knit polyester and you're all set! Seriously, it's mostly because so many women (usually the ironers), have not put up enough of a fuss to those for whom they are ironing. And also, not enough people buy Tencel™, the wonder
fabric that doesn't wrinkle, yet breathes, unlike polyester!

1. Spaceflight and housework are incredibly differing disciplines, and technology for one field rarely overlaps into the other.

2. We have fancy steam irons, and we don't really need any sort of automated ironing machine.

I've been to the moon and it's very dull and there are no clothes shops and nothing to iron, just rock and dust and craters.
I was always lead to believe that women love ironing, i was startled by you're question.

A man invented the bra. A man invented the tampon. A man invented the G-String. A man invented the iron, the television, the telephone, the fridge, the washing machine, the vacuum cleaner, the light bulb, the computer for christ's sake - I think we deserve a break now.

We do have clothes that don't need ironing. People still prefer natiral fabrics because of they feel and the way the fit. We could all wear shiny latex outfits like in every crappy sci-fi movie. We don't because in general, they are not all that comfortable.
