I have a trojan in my system 32 files and when I use ad-ware to scan for it, the computer shuts down. When I use McAfee it doesn't find it. But I am certain that I have a trojan, becuase I caught a glimpse of it before my computer shut down.

Hi the plonkers on here are leading you up the garden path - I run AVG & Ad-Aware SE Pro - Yes, good Programs but they have there limits, AVG does not remove all Trojans, Ad-Aware does not remove all trojan's - some trojans are viewed as spyware & some as viruses, that's why these two programs dont remove all trojan's - for a clean machine click the link below & do a free on line scan & yes this program will remove trojans - if it cannot it will tell you the name of the trojan & where it is - so that you can manually remove it.

Hello,
It could well be possible that you have trojan. If you use all the prgramme sbelow and run them all at least once it should pick up any problems and therefor get rid of them. Hope This Is Helpful

1: Download AVG free edition (brilliant)
2: Spybot Search And Destroy
3: Ad-Aware 6.0
4: Defragment your system using the disc cleanup tool in teh control pannel
5: restart your computer after you have run all these checks. i Am sure your problem will be resolved in a few hours. And it should leave ure computer sparkling clean inside.

Hope This information has proven helpfull

Get your System( Fat File) Reloaded after removing the existing one completely , but you have to be careful as you`re going to lose your old settings plus old files. its possible too that while creating backup file that you carry over the trojan to the newly loaded system files. But there is no harm in trying as you have limitted options .
