Depending on who your cable provider is....if you have BBC, they show a lot of good shows from the UK on it here in the states. Also if you have a search option on your remote you could try searching your program guide (again if your provider has an on screen program guide and allows for searching...I have Dish and can search for any show I want to see if it is coming on in 8 days) by typing in x factor and seeing if it comes up in your program guide. If you do not have the search option on your remote, you could always still see if it is on BBC (if you have BBC) by going to BBC's website. Let me know if you find it :o) I'm curious, what is the show about?

Re: Now that I know it's on ITV, I checked progrtamming for Dish and Dish does offer ITV to its customers if subscribed to. So it still depends on your provider. Also, Fox Reality shows Reality shows from all over inlcuing the UK, you may find it there as well.

I am not sure if people can get X-Factor in the US, but i did hear someone say they have watched some UK programs in Canada but they may have been old programs and not current ones.

To Slinkster, X-Factor is very similar to American Idol.
I doubt if having BBC channels will help either as X-Factor is on ITV channels, not the BBC.
