1. Deploy the axes and strife the long swords to the shallow!
2. Check to make sure its the Broadaxe not the Hatchet.
3. Deem all Axes sacred!
4. Forget the about the fine. Nobody else pays 'em anyways.

It would have to be a dodgy ticket, before you deploy the axes write to the council stating that the tide was in when you parked and therefore how could you see the yellow lines, if that fails, choppers out

The name of the officer who issued the ticket should be on the ticket. Find him, and pillage his village (I love saying that) to get the funds to pay your longboat ticket.
That'll teach him.
