Just not his tournament, and the bigger reason was that Brazil didn't play well as a true team. There was individual brilliance all over the team, and these guys spend too much time away from each other in European leagues, and don't get enough time together.

If I remember right, Ronaldinho also missed some major pre-worldcup tournaments for his country to meet his Barcelona commitments. Sad, but true.

Did you see the game Brazil vs Ghana? Ronaldinho had a clear chance to make a goal, but his teammate didn't pass him the ball, and for this Ronaldinho was very furious. To tell you the truth, the real reason he failed to score even one goal in the world cup was because the Brazil team had no team chemistry and the players were too selfish.

Because it takes a time to get adjusted to a new team.
Because his peers were (maybe) stealing protagonism to him.
Because he had a lot of pressure and got over anxious.
Because he was overwhelmed by the 'supergalactics' from Real Madrid.
And maybe because he was down, or tired or scared.

Anyway, he has scored enough in his young life to demonstrate that he is one of the best ever.

He didn't score any goals because one he was covered by three men at any given time, also he was way overrated.
