I think you are fighting for your mother, your sister and your girlfriend/wife. You are fighting for your children or other children. You are America and you are fighting to keep us free. The ones that protest the war and dishonor our fighting men and women would be the first ones to complain about wearing burkas and turbans. Thank you for your sacrifice. Be Safe.

I am a 46 yr old mother of 3, stepmother to 3 more and grandmother to 5. I have 7 family members that have been in Afghanistan and Iraq, I live in a "red" state , I have no religion and I am republican. But, I do not think that should matter. What should matter is that people should respect you for what you are doing, even if they don't agree with war.

I can't speak for all others, but it has been my experience that people of both camps come from all different walks of life.

I am: a college student, female, from West Texas, non-religious, and lower middle class. All of the men in my family up to my father's generation served in the armed forces, usually Navy or Air Force.

I am anti-war but I do support the troops. I appreciate all that the brave men and women of the US military (like you) must go through to serve our country. That said, I think that this war has been played badly by our politicians and is in fact illegal. War should always be a last resort, not a knee-jerk reaction. Best wishes for you and your company, and I hope that you stay safe and return unharmed to your family.
