I personally like getting a ham, egg, and cheese sandwich with a side of hash browns. Since I can't go without at least a taste of a waffle, even though I can't hold a whole one after all the other, I order one of them too. Good stuff!

At Ole's Waffle Shop in Alameda, Ca, order the Picture Perfect Breakfast. Juice, coffee, ham, one egg, toast.
The waffles are outstanding.
The waitstaff will call you, "Honey" or, "Dear" and remember what you ordered no matter how long it's been since you came in.

My daughter, the grandkids and I ate there yesterday. We were all so hungry.....I had two eggs over easy, hash browns, scattered and smothered and a bowl of grits, toast and a cup of coffee. I love the picante sauce on the hashbrowns. The kids ate...waffles, bacon, hot chocolate, grits,...and they ate some of mine....the baby had grits, egg, hashbrowns...and we even ordered SECONDS....we really pigged out. I didn't need to eat again all day.

Texas rooster Baron Verulam soften with greater pickles, a small bowl of chili w/eggs over ordinary and espresso. I had to surrender the hash browns and grits.I used to reserve my hash browns scattered, smothered, lined, capped, and peppered.

Hash browns scattered, smothered, covered and topped. It's an ecomomical, hearty meal. Health food? Hardly, but why go to WH for that?

The "Double Covered and Smothered" or equivalent breakfast. Heart attack on a plate, but tasty as hell (don't plan on eating for the rest of the day, its quite a portion).

Chicken and Eggs - I get my eggs over hard and my hash browns doubled, covered (w/cheese) and topped (w/chili). I consider it to be the circle of life, you get the unborn chicken fried to beautiful perfection and the full grown chicken grill to beautiful perfection.
