Duch, there's some confusion over what the problem is. It could be a/(3+4b) - a/(3+b) OR a/3 +4b -a/3 -b

If the former, then it boils down to -(11ab)/(9 + 15b + 4b²)

If the later, 3b

easy (-3)-(-3) that makes a over 4b - a over 3 b take away the a makes 4b over b so 4b-b equals 3b

a/(3 + 4b) - a/(3 + b)

= a(3 + b)/[3 + 4b)(3 + b)] - a(3 + 4b)/[(3 + b)(3 + 4b)]

= [(3a + ab) - (3a + 4ab]/[(3 + 4b)(3 + b)]

= [3a + ab - 3a - 4ab]/[(3 + 4b)(3 + b)]

= -3ab/[(3 + 4b)(3 + b)]
