I'm a Giants fan so any good Cowboy I consider a threat! lol Romo is playing pretty hot right now, & I get a kick out of Aikman's uncomfortable looks when he's asked if he thinks Romo is the "new Aikman". But I do think he's too new to really put faith in yet. Kind of a flavor of the month, but unfortunately for a NY fan, he's a good flavor.

Time will tell.

A little yeah. Although I don't think it is because him or Parcells but just the fans. They want Troy Aikman back in a sense. It's like how the Steelers kept having a QB have a good game and then Oh he is the next Bradshaw, right up until Tomzack said he wasn't planning on being a starter after that year so he WOULDN'T be the next Bradshaw. It seemed to get that talk to stop. So get a few good games and the fans will think great, thing is that Bledsoe wasn't likely to last forever and I don't think the fans ever really liked him in Dallas. He was a retread.

Tony Romo is playing like a super star right now. So far he is the real deal, but only time will tell.

Yes, there have been many others who played just a few games and looked good. Remember Tim Couch? he was going to be the next Joe Montana. It is way to early to sing the praises of Romo.

Give him credit, so far he's playing well. Remember 2 other quarterbacks that also started well. One was Tom Brady when he was in the same situation(Bledsoe got hurt), also look at Kurt warner who also was in a similar position(Trent Green got hurt).

So Romos path could go either way.

Right now, he's just hot.

Yeah, but he is playing great right now but the teams he played didnt have the best defense he can do it the rest of the season and next year then he will prove is the next great quarterback in Dallas. Jason campell got his first start last week he played pretty good he didnt get talked about much.

Yes so far. He'll need to play a few more years to prove that he's one of the greatest Cowboys quarterback.

I AM A COWBOYS FAN AND I THINK HE'S PLAYING GREAT SO FAR. I DON'T THINK YOU RANK HIM AS GREAT YET. BUT UNTIL HE MAKES A MISTAKE, HE'S DEFINITELY A QUALITY QB. HE IS THE BEST WE'VE HAD SINCE AIKMAN.
