Today it's hard not to be shaken and people who say they never have been are hiding the truth. We are constantly under attacks on our self esteem and confidence as well as the pressure to produce and provide for our peers and families. Nights awake fighting inner demons looking for resolve and then the morning comes and the anxiety is magnified. Who hasn't felt this some time or another.
Deep inside you feel the battle raging and it's all you can do to just get on with your day. I felt it when I was in a play in High School just before I'd go on or with a girl I liked. You may feel it when you show your art or with your spouse. It seems that for all the worrying that things would be willed into being or you wished they would be at the time but worrying doesn't help. Then the storm is over and the sun comes out from behind the clouds and everything was survivable and you had the courage to stand your ground.

there are days when i believe in myself and days when i feel like i am trudging through life.
the days i believe in myself are days when i don't depend on anything or anyone to make me happy. i am self fulfilled and confident and moving along my path to the beat of my own drum.
the days where my belief in myself has dwindled are the days when i think and behave as though others are responsible for my feelings.
i think the key to a strong sense of belief in oneself is honesty about where we are at. too many times i think we are afraid to admit that life is tough and we dont know what to do.
whenever i am humble enough to share my truth it opens me up to heal and to help others. it's ok to embrace the good and the bad and just rest in knowing that we are all human and not perfect.
sharing the truth increases my personal strength and belief in myself despite my flaws.
thanks for this question. you've helped me see things clearly.

to tell you the truth i am the only person i feel confident in believing in. how do i know that everyone else just didn't come to be once i came to be. i have only seen the world through my own eyes, heard through my own ears, felt through my own skin, and so on. every believe came from what I have come from myself, whther it had been experienced or thought, therefore i must believe in myself because I cannot lie to myself.

innak you are running over with Q's today. Thank you for very good Q's. I don't believe in the "FALSE" sense of self, with its concept of seperation from God. I do know the inner self who is one with God within the heart in unconditional love. "GOD DWELLS WITHIN YOU AS YOU". you will find him in your heart in the form of Unconditional love,or Humility,or peace,or silence. From Love With Love To Love whistle britches

yes i do believe in myself. because if i didnt, then who else would besides God, my family, and my friends? no one would. that is why i have to have faith within my self. because if they stop believeing in me all of a sudden, then i have to faith in myself to go through life without them. with enough faith and hope for us all.
